Win this teapot

December 15th is International Tea Day and is celebrated in many tea growing regions around the world. It began in India in 2005 to raise awareness of the plight of tea pickers’ working conditions and the challenge small scale tea growers face against corporate producers of international brands. Millions of workers are affected by the forces of the global economy and the dynamics of an ever-expanding tea industry.
To honour the tea workers across the globe, I give away one of my teapots every December 15th. In order to sign up for the draw I simply ask that you enjoy a cup of organically grown, fairly traded tea and think of all the hardworking tea pickers. Send me a line with your contact info or like my facebook page. The draw takes place at the end of the day Thursday. Good luck to all…

Win a Teapot

Tis’ that time of year again that I give away one of my teapots in honour of International Tea Day December 15th. International Tea Day was initiated in India to raise awareness of the conditions of tea workers across the globe. Have an artisan cup of tea, like my facebook page and you can win a one-of-a-kind handbuilt teapot. Or, simply share your own personal tea story. I love tea and I love stories.

The actual design and colour of the teapot will be a surprise but I guarantee it will be one of my original teapots.
