Marianne Brown is a very talented goldsmith who works out of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Her work is beautifully detailed. Here is a picture of one of her pieces -

I confess to being a lily lover.
The city of Shibam, Yemen, is home to the oldest skyscrapers in the world.
These buildings date back to the 16th century. They are built of mud bricks and have been able to survive hundreds of year of weather in the middle of the desert.
I am not sure why I am so attracted to cityscapes. I grew up on a farm and I now live in the country. Yet cityscapes continue to inspire and amaze me. And especially these clay-cloured wabi-sabi beauties….
