Tis’ that time of year again that I give away one of my teapots in honour of International Tea Day December 15th. International Tea Day was initiated in India to raise awareness of the conditions of tea workers across the globe. Have an artisan cup of tea, like my facebook page and you can win a one-of-a-kind handbuilt teapot. Or, simply share your own personal tea story. I love tea and I love stories.
The actual design and colour of the teapot will be a surprise but I guarantee it will be one of my original teapots.
I am very happy to have Christina Mosegaard’s beautiful paintings here. She is exhibiting in our new gallery space until the end of December.
Do stop by for a visit if you are on Vancouver Island.

If you are roaming around in Northern Europe and have a bit of time on your hands before July 31, you really ought to go to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, Denmark and have a look at Brygger Jacobsen’s Portrait Exhibition. Christina Mosegaard has a wonderful portrait in the exhibit. I can’t say enough about Christina’s faces and icons. They are simply stunning. In case you miss the exhibit in Hillerød, you can make a trip to Northern Jutland and see more of her work at Galerie Provence in Vadum, outside of Aalborg, Denmark.
